Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couples sessions are 65 minutes. Contact me for information on fees.

Interac e-transfer payments (preferred and must be sent prior to session) and major credit cards. A major credit card is required on your client portal prior to the start of the services.

Most plans do provide coverage for my services, which most plans refer to as Social Worker, Master of Social Work and/or Psychotherapist. Check with your provider to determine your coverage.
I provide direct billing for: Blue Cross, First Nations Health Authority, Green Shield Canada, Medavie Blue Cross and Veterans Affairs Canada. If you are not with one of these providers, you will receive an invoice to submit for reimbursement from your provider.

The first session is focused on getting to know you and start to explore and understand what led you to seek therapy and by the end of the first session I identify a couple of goals we will working on moving forward.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) with developed by IFS was developed by psychologist Richard Schwartz and is a model that helps to identify the multiple parts that exist within our systems. The goal of therapy is to identify and to know our parts, and through self-discovery and growth we work towards healing our wounds and working towards achieving balance in our systems.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a body-oriented therapeutic approach developed by Pat Ogden. It integrates traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and body awareness to support emotional regulation, trauma processing, and the transformation of unhelpful patterns. This holistic method recognizes that our physical sensations, posture, and movement can hold valuable insights into our emotional and psychological experiences.

I use the Gottman Method for Couples and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. The Gottman Method is a research-based approach that was developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It focuses on strengthening relationships by improving communication, increasing intimacy, and fostering mutual respect and affection. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) is a structured, evidence-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on strengthening emotional bonds and improving attachment security between partners. Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson and Dr. Les Greenberg, EFCT is rooted in attachment theory and helps couples identify and change negative interaction patterns that create distress in their relationship.

A minimum of 24 hours is required to cancel or reschedule. If you do not show for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
